Caroline Paul

Caroline Paul is an American author, journalist, and former firefighter whose work focuses on adventure, risk-taking, and empowering women and girls. A graduate of Stanford University, Paul made history as one of the first female firefighters in the San Francisco Fire Department, serving on a heavy rescue unit for thirteen years. She chronicled her intense experiences in her bestselling debut memoir, Fighting Fires.
