Chris Kyle

Chris Kyle (1974–2013) was a decorated United States Navy SEAL veteran and one of the most effective snipers in American military history. Serving four deployment tours during the Iraq War, Kyle was awarded multiple Silver Star and Bronze Star Medals for heroic conduct in combat.

Following his military service, Kyle co-authored his landmark autobiography American Sniper: The Autobiography of the Most Lethal Sniper in U.S. Military History. The book became a massive bestseller and was adapted into an Oscar-winning film directed by Clint Eastwood and starring Bradley Cooper.

In addition to his writing, Kyle co-founded FITCO Cares Foundation to assist disabled military veterans returning home. His story remains a defining narrative of modern military service, comradeship, and post-service transition.
