Dr. Michael Shermer is an American science writer, historian of science, and founder of The Skeptics Society, as well as editor-in-chief of Skeptic magazine. Holding a Ph.D. in the history of science from Claremont Graduate University, he is a prominent voice for scientific skepticism.
