Roald Dahl
Roald Dahl (1916-1990) was a British author of children’s literature, best known for books such as Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator, Matilda, The Witches, The BFG, and James and the Giant Peach.
He is credited with popularizing the genre of children’s fantasy and is considered one of the most influential children’s authors of the 20th century.
